Creating a new vendor marketing (VPA) quote

Modified on Tue, 12 Mar, 2024 at 12:17 PM

Creating marketing quotes for your vendors within Realhub allows agencies to maintain a single source of truth for their provider marketing costs and eliminates the risk of using potentially outdated copies of manual lists, such as Excel spreadsheets.

To begin quoting your vendors using Realhub’s quote features, you’ll need to ensure all your relevant VPA providers are linked to your Realhub account with their current pricing and product options. If you need help with this, reach out to our Realhub Support team or have a chat with your Implementation Specialist.

Creating a Quote

To create a new quote for a campaign, go to the campaign and then Quoting & Finance > Quoting.

Ensure your campaign has a vendor contact added, together with Start & End Dates.

Vendor contact and start/end dates must be entered before proceeding.
Start dates are used to check price lists are accurate, and can be updated prior to approving your quote.

  1. Click Create Quote
    1. If you don’t see the Create Quote button, check the above to make sure a Vendor Contact has been added, together with Start & End dates.
  2. Depending on our agency’s settings, you will have the option to select a template, copy from an existing campaign or create a blank quote.
    1. Use a Template
Allows you to start with a quote template, saving you from having to add all your order items, etc. You can choose a quote template but still make changes for the campaign as required.
    2. From Existing Quote
Copy all the quote details that have been created for another campaign in your office
    3. Blank Quote
Allows you to start from scratch and make a custom quote.
  3. You can now started editing your quote as required, by adding order items and custom items, or editing existing items.
    1. Order Items
Are linked to Providers and typically send an email order + artwork if required.
    2. Custom Items
Are more ad-hoc items that are used purely for quoting & charging your vendor. As these don’t connect to a particular provider, they do not send email order notifications and do not require approval from the Orders tab once the quote is Approved.
