Customising the design of vendor marketing (VPA) quote

Modified on Tue, 12 Mar, 2024 at 12:50 PM

Vendor marketing quotes in Realhub can be super flexible, allowing you to design them how you need. You can create multiple sections/headings, hide or show items or subtotals, and add extra descriptions where needed.

Overall Quote Layout

Quote layouts can be broken down into:

  • Header & Footer The design and layout of the header and footer of the quote can be customised per brand, and individual offices if required. Typically the design includes the brand logo/colours together with standard details such as vendor names/address, agent name and campaign details. To update your header & footer design, contact Realhub Support or your Brand / Corporate marketing team.
  • Sections Sections are the “headings” within the quote that separate your quote into different categories (think “Print & Signs” vs “Creative Services” vs “Internet Package”). Each section can be customised to your needs including the heading that shows on the quote, whether or not the section displays a sub-total, and whether the individual prices of each item within the section are detailed.
  • Orders & Custom Items (Line Items) These are the actual order items within each section - for example, “A4 Brochure” or “8x6 Signboard”

Customising Sections

You can create as many sections as you need for your quote and then change the settings for each as required.

To create a new section, click on the new section button at the bottom of your quote. You can name the section accordingly E.=.g. Print Media, Digital Media, Newspapers & Magazines, Administration, etc

To organise the sections in your quote, click on the cog icon at the top of your quote. Then click on the sort sections button.

Once selected, you can drag the sections to their desired order by clicking and dragging the ladder icon. Be sure to click Save at the bottom of the modal to finalise your changes.

You can also click into a section title and use the Move Section Up / Move Section Down buttons if you prefer.

Section Settings

Each section can be further customised to show or hide different information.

To edit the settings for a quote section, click on the section title to access Edit Quote Section side modal.

Here you can customise the following:

  • Section Title / Heading
  • Header - Description that will appear underneath the section title
  • Footer - Description that will appear underneath all line items within the section
  • Hide Dates (No/Yes) - For Publication orders
  • Hide Prices (No/Yes) - To hide the individual prices of each order within the section
  • Show Subtotal (No/Yes) - To show a subtotal of the price of items within the section

For example, you may wish to have a section for Digital Marketing Package that lists all your website portals, a total for the “package”, but not the individual price for each portal.

To achieve this, change your section title, hide prices (yes) and show subtotal (yes).

Each section has its own settings, so you can show subtotals and hide prices for one section, for example, with another section that itemises the price for each item without a subtotal. Or with a subtotal… it’s up to you!
