Some products in Realhub allow (or even require!) tasks to be added in order for the order to progress through its proper workflow.
The best example of this is Signboard & Stockboard orders.
Before we can confirm a signboard order, we need to add the Install task details, so that the provider knows where and when to install the signboard.
Add / update the Install task details
There are two ways to add the install task details before you get to the Confirm Order stage.
In the Manage Order Item side modal (accessed via the pencil icon for the order)
Via the Manage Tasks link for the order, in the Pending Orders list
Both options allow you to add or edit the task info to ensure it's accurate before you send your order to the provider.
Manage Task link
- Locate the order on the Pending Orders list and click Manage Tasks.
- The Install task will be automatically added for you, with Due Date Not Set
- Click the Pending task
- Use the date selector to add your desired install date
- Upload an installation image, if desired
- Check the Installation address (typically the property address) is correct
- Add any installation instructions (e.g. Install in front of tree)
- Click Update Task
- The task details will now be saved ready for when you Confirm Order
Manage Order Item Side Modal
- Click the pencil icon to Manage Order Item
- Scroll down to the Tasks section of the modal
- Enter in the relevant details as noted in the instructions above
- Click Save Task
Adding other tasks once the board has been installed
Once a board has been installed by your provider, there are time where you may need the board to be removed, cleaned (e.g. graffiti) or repaired if it's damaged.
To request any of these tasks from your provider:
- Go to the Approved Orders tab
- Click Add Task for the relevant order
- Select the required Task
- Enter the required date, address and instructions
- Click Create Task
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to take advantage of the task management options within Realhub, it's important that your Provider accepts task request from Realhub. If you're unsure, please contact your Provider directly to confirm.
Viewing existing tasks for a campaign
In addition to the View Tasks link next to relevant orders, all tasks that have already been added to a campaign will appear in the Tasks module on both the Pending Orders and Approved Orders pages.
