Custom Items can be used to manage vendor quoting and invoicing for items that don’t require orders to be sent to a provider and don’t require artwork.
While ad hoc custom items can be added on the fly to individual quotes, Office Admins can setup regularly used Custom Items for quickly adding to quotes and campaigns when required. This can help with reporting, as Custom Items added to your Agency Admin will include the Custom Item Group (often used to reference the provider name) on reports.
Custom Items do not need to be confirmed - if you have custom items on a quote, when you approve that quote the items will automatically flow through to your Orders > Approved tab.
Custom Item Groups
Custom Item groups are a way of grouping related custom items together. For example, you may with to group internet descriptions & charges, auctioneer fees, title searches, etc.
In order to create any custom items, you’ll first need to create a Custom Item Group.
- Go to Agency Admin > Custom Items
- Click Create Group
- Enter a Title for the Group and click Create Group
Custom Item Groups pull through to reports, such as the Approved Order Summary Report, in the Provider column, so it’s best to ensure Groups are maintained accurately in order for better reporting from Realhub.
Creating Custom Items
Once you have created a Custom Item Group, you can then create custom items within.
- Click Add Item
- Add the custom item Title and Price
- Ensure the Title is how you would like the item to appear on quotes and in your Approved Orders tab
- You may also enter a description for future reference if required
- Click Create Custom Item
- Repeat for other required custom items in the group
