Working with Brand Groups

Modified on Fri, 5 Apr, 2024 at 12:47 PM

A Brand Group is a group of offices/agencies within a brand that work closely together, where agents having listings across multiple offices, or paginate their ads together in publications/newspapers.

An agency is usually a representation of a real estate office in a physical location. Agencies must belong to a brand and can (but isn’t required to) be part of a brand group.

Example:

  • Realhome is the Brand
  • Realhome Mona Vale, Realhome Balgowlah and Realhome Allambie Heights are all Agencies
  • These three offices are in the "Realhome Northern Beaches" Brand Group

The reason they are part of a brand group is to allow these agencies to paginate their publication/newspaper modules together on the same base plate page. These agencies may also collaborate on campaigns/listings in the market and could have one marketing support team to assist with the campaign management.

Managing your Brand Groups

Go to Brand Groups link in the main navigation menu. Here, you will see all the brand groups configured for your brand. If you manage a large network with many brand groups, you can use the  filters on the right hand side to narrow down your search.

Once you have located the brand group, click on the title.

When reviewing the brand group you have the ability to edit the details, manage providers, manage publications, manage members and adjust the brand group settings.

Providers

Brand group providers relate to providers of publications/newspaper. These providers need to be assigned to help build the media planner scope for the agencies.

Click the Add Provider button to add a new provider to the brand group.

This will open the Add Provider side modal where you will need to search for the provider by name and input an identity code (if the provider uses codes. If unsure, please reach out to the Realhub support team)

If you need to delete a provider, click on the trash bin icon on the right hand side of the provider module.

Publications

These publications need to be assigned to help build the media planner scope for the agencies.

Click the Add Publication button to add a new publication to the brand group.

This will open the Add Publication side modal where you will need to search for the publication/newspaper by name.

If you need to delete a publication, click on the trash bin icon on the right hand side of the publication module.

Members

The members of a brand group will show all the agencies within the group. Depending on the settings applied in the brand group, these agencies may be able to collaborate on campaigns and see campaigns of other member agencies.

There will always be an Admin agency. This is the brand group lead agency. Depending on the settings applied in the brand group, this agency will have full access across all the member agencies. This includes campaigns, orders, artworks, accounting, agency settings.

To add a member to the group, click on the Add Member button.

This will show up the side modal where you can search for an agency within the brand. Once done, click add member.

You should now be able to see this member in the list. If you want to make this member the admin agency for the group, click on the cog and click ‘Set as Admin’. Doing this will make the current admin agency a member and in turn will remove their full access abilities.

If you wish to review or edit an agency within the brand group, click on the arrow on the right hand side. Click to learn more about Managing agencies within your brand.

To delete an agency from the brand group, click the trash bin icon.

Settings

The settings module found in the top right of the screen will allow you to configure the brand group setup to suit the needs of these agencies.

Activity & Conversations

At the very bottom of the page there is an activity log and conversations module. This allows you to see what has been adjusted and who has adjusted it. The conversations allow you to leave notes for yourself or other team members regarding this brand group.
